Floral Hall
Take part in one of Vermont’s oldest traditions at the State’s oldest fair! The Ailene Capen Floral Hall is once again the place where garden produce, cooking specialties, artistic endeavors and original works are on display.
Entries are accepted on Thursday, August 27th from 3-7PM. The Hall is open for viewing from noon on Friday, August 28nd until the Fair closes and opens at 10AM on Saturday and Sunday. Entries must be picked up between 3-5PM on Sunday, August 30th.
The Exhibit Categories are: (Adults, 2 entries per category. Children under 18, 5 entries per category.)

We’re also excited to once again host our Pie, Cake, and Chili Contests!
📅 Pie, Cake, and Chili entries must be delivered by 10:00 AM on Friday, August 28.
Important reminders:
🌶️ Chili entries must be brought in a heating element, such as a crockpot.
🥧 Pie and Chili entries will not be returned after judging, so please plan accordingly.
🍽️ Contestants should pick up their serving dishes that evening.
Ribbons and cash prizes are awarded for first ($4), second ($3) and third ($2) place in each category. Children will be judged separately in the Vegetable and Arts & Crafts categories with separate awards going to the “under 10” and “under 18” categories.
