1st Bondville Fair Quilt Hall Challenge - America’s 250th Anniversary
NEW FOR 2026 - BONDVILLE FAIR QUILT HALL CHALLENGE
This year we are adding a bit of FUN to the Quilt Hall with a Challenge category!! Since 2026 is the year to celebrate America's 250th Anniversary, the theme of the Challenge is patriotic, and it is your interpretation of patriotic.
Make your favorite quilt block or pattern using red, white and blue fabric.
Is there an animal you think of as patriotic, quilt it!
A national park, hobby, or pastime - YES!
Historical person or place - indeed!
The options are many, and the interpretation of the category is really up to you. The only caveat is the maximum size of your quilt cannot exceed 24" x 24", and only one entry per quilter for the Challenge. You will register your Challenge quilt the same way as your other entries, and specify in the description that it is an entry for the Challenge category.
The Challenge can also earn you a Bondville Fair ribbon as the Challenge category will be judged outside of the standard entries by the judges, with one 1st Place ribbon awarded. The Challenge quilts will also be eligible for the People's Choice voting along with all the other entries in the Quilt Hall.
